A 40-year-old woman, Foluke Olanipekun, has died after a fight she had with her neighbor at their home in Ogo Street Arigidi-Akoko in Akoko North west local government in Ondo state.
According to reports, Olanipekun family and that of her neighbor have had a long standing misunderstanding and on Sunday night, the warring families faced each other in free for all in the night. Things degenerated after Olanipekun slumped and died during the scuffle.
The police was invited and her remains were said to have been deposited at Ikare State Speacialist Hospital mortuary.
The fighting neighbor of the deceased, Mrs Morenikeji Bello, 27, and her two children who were involved in the attack of late Olanipekun, were immediately arrested.
According to Divisional Police Officer (DPO) Okeagbe-Akoko, Ibitayo Adetanranmi,a Superintendent of Police(SP)who confirmed the incident, the suspects will soon be transferred to Akure.
