Broadcasting is crucial to rural development. One of the branches of broadcasting that focuses on rural development is community radio broadcasting. Countries where community radio exists use this channel to establish a two-way communication channel that fosters participatory development.

 

There are more than 12 functional community radio stations on air in Ghana with more waiting to receive their frequency. Ghana Community Radio Network (GCRN) is an association of community radio stations in Ghana. Some of the community radio stations include;
